Who we are:
HomeCharlotte is a social networking website for Real Estate
focused on the Charlotte, NC Real Estate market. Inspired
by the free and open nature of the internet, HomeCharlotte
provides a completely free search interface for searching
a myriad of residential listings for sale or rent and a
Cash Rebate for Closing a Deal. We also invest in our community
by donating a portion of every Success-based Marketing
Commission to local Charities focused on strengthening
the community through Home Ownership. See

HomeCharlotte brings a
social aspect to those listings by providing 24/7 blogging
tools to professional users including Voice Blogs, Text
Blogs and Personal Introduction Blogs all designed to provide
real-time updates to consumers. Further, consumers can
voice their opinions about listings by utilizing our feedback
rating system which, in turn, helps professionals tweak
their listings for better performance. In addition to providing
a free, robust, simple home search and networking tools,
HomeCharlotte also donates 10% of its net commissions back
to local charities focused on increasing home ownership
and quality of life.
Scope of Offerings:
HomeCharlotte is an independent communications and Internet
Data Exchange (IDX) service which allows consumers to research
property and receive portions of the full MLS Listing information
allowable under the CMLS Broker Reciprocity Rules and Conditions
concerning those properties. HomeCharlotte's focus is in
acquiring new listings, selling current listings and assisting
clients in their Real Estate needs. The advanced technology
presented on the HomeCharlote website further enables us
to immediately connect consumers to Charlotte Metro Area
Real Estate Agents when our "bricks and mortar" operation does not allow a high
level of service. In addition consumers may access additional listing information
directly from Real Estate Agents via HomeCharlotte’s Listing Enhancement
Tools and other Buyer’s Agent tools and via the Agent
Profile Forms. Further, owners and builders may list property
for sale both on the MLS and on the HomeCharlotte site. Finally,
Landlords and Property managers may list properties available
for rent throughout the MLS area and renters may access those
properties in their search for future rental homes.

HomeCharlotte to provide Real Estate to Everyone and to
strengthen our community through home ownership through
technology and charitable giving. Sellers, Buyers, Real
Estate Agents, Property Managers, Landlords, Renters and
Builders are each identified as core users and pursuits
are actively made to provide each user type with the necessary
tools to be proficient at acquiring access, knowledge,
and power in their real estate ventures in an honest and
affordable manner while maintaining a high level of personal
information security.
History:
HomeCharlotte began
its development in 1999 with the creation of a local real
estate firm highly servicing the first-time homebuyer market.
As our company developed, a greater portion of its revenue
was generated by re-distributing the overwhelming number
of leads to member Real Estate Agents. In the year 2000
HomeCharlotte took its concept online and developed an
incredible tool for organizing the varied services demanded
by our clients. This online venture grew and now the new
HomeCharlotte Real Estate Marketplace offers a cleaner,
easier to use, and more powerful presence for every user
guaranteeing that Real Estate Happens...For Everyone.
